  • Film presentation based on Red Sprites at Vedere la Scienza 2005 scientific film and documentary festival. This presentation was on March 10, at the prestigious Spazio Oberdan cultural center in Milan, Italy. The two Red Sprite films were translated into Italian.
Participation at Vedere la Scienza 2005  was undertaken with the assistance of the Canadian Embassy in Rome.

  • The IAC2005 organizing committee accepted a submission of a research paper for the E5. Space Activity and Society Symposium ( IAA.6.16) at The 56th International Astronautical Congress:IAC2005 held in Fukuoka , Japan (on October 16-24, 2005).

  • Peter McLeish invited by Dr. Michal Giboda who is the organizer & The Civic Initiative Group in the Czech Republic to teach, participate and lecture about sprite art & science approach in a workshop/event titled the Summer 2003 Workshop Dialogue between Science & Art  in the Czech Republic from July 12-19. The art & science collaboration based on Red Sprites project is included in a book by Dr. Michal Giboda called the Dialogue between the Sciences and the Arts.
  • Participation in this event was advertised in a Newsletter -Kanadska Mozaika by the Canadian Embassy in Prague.

  • As part of Dr. Walter Lyons’s annual grant report (regarding the collaboration) to the NSF, he included an update of Sprite activities which included a list of all events & awards from Peter McLeish between 2001-2003.
